Oh hello!
We have planted over thirty acres of native amenity woodland and more than 4km of countryside hedging for the benefit of the wildlife and peoples pleasure. Particularly important, is our Isle of Wight provenance Small Leaf Lime trees. We are lucky enough to be looking after the only group of these trees left on the island and through careful management are increasing their numbers.
The Farm is a fantastic place to explore and learn, so don't forget your wellies!
Roam the Farm
The wonderful Team at Tapnell farm are always keen to share their knowledge and passion for the countryside with you.
Come rain or shine you can enjoy a farm tour and see how a farm really ticks.
We have also re-homed a number of battery hens at the farm who are now clucking around happily - fat, fluffy and free!
You are welcome to collect eggs each morning, fresh and delicious ex-battery free range! Pay a visit to see them camping in their very own hen caravan!

There are several farm shops and supermarkets very close (by car) which also stocks local produce including fruit and veg.
